We were welcomed by reception staff and given some ideas on where to go to see more of the Adelaide Fringe which was on whilst we were there making Adelaide at night really buzzing. Our apartment was spacious and clean and comfortable. We had an apartment at the back and it was very quiet at night. For the price we paid the position of the hotel made it great value for money. You are right in the centre of Adelaide, very near Rundle mall and close to so many eating places you are spoilt for choice. Mansions is a good budget choice which is in an enviable location. The building is old but has character and the staff are cheerful and helpful.
We stayed there from the country to do our Christmas shopping and the location was fabulous. The staff were really friendly and we were surprised how big the rooms were. The property is older but we're happy to look past that for the obvious benefits like location and size of the rooms. We'll be telling our friends and family and would like to stay again and bring the kids.
Rooms were really spacious (not what I am use to). Staff were helpful. Really close to food and shopping. Even managed to find the Cinema (which is down the road). There is laundry facilities as well up on the 4th floor. Really good for groups I think as there is enough space in the rooms to gather.
We were given a 'suite of rooms' at the Mansions on Pulteney for the price of a hotel room. It was actually a huge apartment with kitchen, lounge, bedroom and separate bathroom, all with high ceilings and period features. The modern refurbishment has been tastefully done, so while it has heritage charm, everything works and the modern appliances fit in well. So this is a very comfortable place to stay. The location is outstanding: only steps to North Terrace and all its cultural attractions, close to the Rundle Mall shops and very convenient for the great restaurants in the east end dining precinct. Now that I have discovered the Mansions on Pulteney, I don’t need to try any other hotels in Adelaide.
